It's just well made and fun for my 3 year old. I love that it's a short game and every outcome is different. It's fun, silly, and teaches taking turns and waiting until the end to use the sliding ruler.
They don't want to play it anymore, only having it a couple weeks. My 4 yr old and 5 yr old got bored quickly. This game is too simple for kids over 3 yrs old. I wish they had included more pieces so the game would be more interesting.
Just about any game by Haba would be a better choice. Be prepared to sit around rolling the die turn after turn waiting for it to land on the one thing you need to finish the game. This game is easy to learn, and will get your toddler started with board games. But be warned, it's fantastically boring for adults to play.
This is her first game and it is teaching her how to roll the dice, follow directions and wait her turn. We bought the How Tall Am I. I don't know how long the game will hold their interest, since it is so simple and there is not a lot of variety, but for now, they enjoy it and it is teaching our younger one basic game playing skills. Our 5 year old enjoys playing the game also and the two have a good time together. game for our 2 1/2 year old. It is a simple game, yet fun and perfect for her age.
For a little older kids, it would just be to easy. It's the most simplest game. My young preschooler likes to play this game. Best of all, it doesn't take long to play so they don't get bored with it like some.
